The John Wesley Johnson Legacy Fund is dedicated to supporting and empowering students from East Mississippi attending HBCUs. By investing in the education of these scholars, the Legacy Fund seeks to promote equity, enhance career opportunities, and cultivate future leaders who will contribute positively to their communities and beyond.

Application Requirements:
Mississippi Resident
High school senior
Accepted as a full time student at an accredited HBCU institution
Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
2 letters of recommendation
Must exhibit community service
Scholarship Amount- $1250
Annual Scholarships Awarded- 4

The scholarship cycle opens annually from February 1 through March 31
